The International Hockey Industry Association is a trade Association consisting of manufacturers, retailers, media firms and other entities interested in the sport of hockey.

Our purpose is to promote the sport of hockey and the common business interests of its members. We also seek to improve the business conditions in the hockey industry.

In 2004, funds put into the IHIA have allowed us to host a summit on the state of the game of hockey. For the first time in history all participants of the industry were able to start working towards creating an initiative which would promote hockey and encourage its growth. Participants in this summit included representatives from the NHL, NHLPA, USA Hockey and Hockey Canada along with leading manufacturers, rink operators and retailers from both the U.S and Canada.
